Germany November 1959 concert poster (Michel+Kieser)
Original first printing concert poster designed to promote American jazz combo the Modern Jazz Quartet’s November 1959 German tour, presented by Norman Granz in association with Kurt Collien. Striking artwork by noted German graphic duo Hans Michel and Günther Kieser with artists’ imprint to the upper right side border (michel+kieser novum).
The poster measures 59.3 x 83.7 cm and is beautifully printed on thin, uncoated paper stock. In excellent unfolded condition, bright and unmarked. Additional photos available on request.
