Kurzaal, Scheveningen & Concertgebouw, Amsterdam October 1959 concert program
Original vintage concert program for the Modern Jazz Quartet’s two performances at the Kurzaal in Scheveningen and the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam on Saturday, 24th October, 1959, presented by Lou van Rees. By the start of the 1960s, the MJQ was hugely popular in Europe and two concerts on the same day weren’t unusual.
One sheet folded into four pages, 18.0 x 25.8 cm. All text in Dutch. Very light age toning to extremities, else in excellent unfolded and unmarked condition. Additional photos available on request.
