Scarce original double-sided first printing poster program advertising Festival Jazz From Newport staged at the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Brussels [Belgium] from 1st to 3rd November, 1970. Performing artists included Buddy Rich, Modern Jazz Quartet, Dizzy Gillespie, Charles Mingus, Earl Hines, Dave Brubeck, Gerry Mulligan, and Anita O’Day. Uncommon.
The poster measures 59.5 x 82.5 cm (approx. 23.4″ by 32.5″ inches) and is beautifully printed in red, blue and black inks on thin, coated paper stock. Folded as issued with light wear/age toning along the fold lines. Additional photos available on request.
