Cirque Royal, Brussels October 1986 concert poster

Large original first printing concert poster advertising the Miles Davis Octet at the Cirque Royal in Brussels [Belgium] on Wednesday, 29th October, 1986 in support of the Tutu album, Miles’ tribute to Archbishop Desmond Tutu, the first black Anglican Archbishop of Cape Town, South Africa. Primarily recorded at Capitol Studios in Los Angeles and Clinton Recording in New York, the album was produced by Marcus Miller and Tommy LiPuma and released in September 1986 on Warner Bros Records just prior to the Fall 1986 European tour. Miles’ touring band included Bob Berg (ss, ts); Garth Webber (g); Robert Irving III (synth); Adam Holzman (synth); Darryl Jones (el-b); Vincent Wilburn, Jr. (d); Steve Thornton (perc).
