1984 Japanese Arista Records promo poster for “2:00 AM Paradise Café”
Original first printing Barry Manilow (1943) promotional poster issued by Arista Records in Japan in 1984 to promote the release of the 2:00 AM Paradise Café album – Manilow’s tenth studio album, produced by Manilow himself and released on 15th November, 1984. Featuring jazz giants Sarah Vaughan, Gerry Mulligan, and Shelly Mann, the album peaked at #28 on the Billboard 200 and was certified Gold by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) for sales over 500,000 certified units. The poster was for promotional purposes only, and was never made commercially available.
The poster measures 51.3 x 72.9 cm (approx. 20.2″ by 28.7″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, coated paper stock.
