January 1963 German concert tour program

Original vintage concert program produced for French jazz clarinetist and bandleader Claude Luter’s January 1963 German tour accompanied by trumpeter Pierre Derveaux, trombonist Jean-Louis Durand, pianist Eddie Bernard, bassist Roland Bianchini, and drummer Teddy Martin. Perhaps best known for being an accompanist to Sidney Bechet when he was in Paris, but Luter also worked with Barney Bigard and French writer and musician Boris Vian. After complications from a fall, Claude Luter died in Paris on 6th October, 2006, at the age of 83.

In original red and black pictorial uncoated wrappers, staple bound, 14.6 x 20.8 cm, 8 pp. All text in German. Folded horizontally with light wear to spine and extremities. Additional images of the program available on request.
