Palais des Sports, Paris June 1965 concert program
Large original vintage concert program produced for Louis Armstrong’s performance at the Palais des Sports in Paris [France] on Friday, 4th June, 1965, with Dominique Chanson, Irakli’s New Orleans Ambassadors, Claude Luter, Les Haricots Rogues, and Claude Bolling also on the bill. Armstrong’s group featured trombonist Tyree Glenn, pianist Billy Kyle, bassist Buddy Catlett, drummer Danny Barcelona, clarinetist Eddie Shu, and singer Jewel Brown. The concert was recorded and released on vinyl as The Essential Louis Armstrong.
In original red and black pictorial coated wrappers, staple bound, 24.0 x 32.0 cm, 24 pp. All text in French. In excellent condition, tightly bound and clean. Additional images of the program available on request.
