April 1960 German concert tour program (Michel+Kieser)
Original vintage concert program for Nat King Cole’s April 1960 nationwide tour of Germany, presented by Norman Granz, and with Quincy Jones and his Big Band also on the bill. Some promotional items and the original ticket stub for the concert at the Sportpalast in Berlin on Saturday, 23rd April, laid in. Striking artwork and graphic design by Hans Michel and Günther Kieser.
In original red and black pictorial coated wrappers, perfect bound, 27.5 x 25.5 cm, 16 pp. Bilingual edition with program notes in both German and English. Light wear to spine and extremities, else in near excellent condition, tightly bound and clean. Additional photos available on request.
