January 1968 European concert tour program 


Original vintage program book for blues giant B.B. King’s January 1968 European tour, presented by Lippmann+Rau. With a band that consisted of Mose Thomas (trumpet), Lee Catung (tenor), James Toney (organ), Sonny Freeman (drums), and Lu Elliot (vocals), the tour kicked off at the Palais des Fêtes in Strasbourg on 10th January and ended at the Victoria Hall in Geneva on 27th January, 1968.

In original b/w pictorial matte-coated wrappers, staple bound, 27.5 x 25.5 cm, 12 pp. Bilingual edition with program notes by Siegfried Schmidt-Joos in both English and German. Wrappers are slightly rubbed and shows signs of handling wear. There is a 1 cm seam split to the top, else tightly bound and clean. Additional photos available on request.
