September 1958 UK concert tour program
Original vintage concert program for the Jazz From Carnegie Hall Sept 1958 package tour of Great Britain, presented and produced by Harold Davison. Performing artists included trombonists J.J. Johnson and Kai Winding, saxophonists Zoot Sims and Lee Konitz, double bassist Oscar Pettiford, drummer Kenny Clarke, pianists Red Garland and Phineas Newborn.
In original, red and black pictorial wrappers, staple bound, 21.0 x 26.9 cm, 20 pp. Program notes by Bob Dawbarn, Jack Higgins, Jimmy Watson, Benny Green, Brian Harvey, Tony Hall and Keith Goodwin. Near fine, tightly bound and clean without markings. Additional photos available on request.
