1975 Japanese Trio Records promo poster
Original first printing Keith Jarrett promotional poster issued by Trio Records in Japan in the mid-1970s, presumably around 1975 and the release of The Köln Concert album – a live solo double album, recorded at the Opera House in Cologne [Germany] on 24th January, 1975, and released on Manfred Eicher’s ECM label on 30th November, 1975. Trio Records was a Japanese record label founded in 1969 by the Kasuga brothers. Trio Records manufactured the ECM catalog in Japan. The poster features a striking photo of Jarrett credited to Ishii, with the artist’s imprint to the bottom left corner. The poster was for promotional purposes only, and was never made commercially available.
The poster measures 51.4 x 72.7 cm (approx. 20.2″ by 28.6″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, smooth-finish uncoated paper stock.
