1987 Japanese Warner-Pioneer Corporation promo poster for “Inside Information”
Original first printing Foreigner promotional poster issued by Warner-Pioneer Corporation in Japan in 1987 to promote the release of the Inside Information album, the band’s sixth studio album, produced by Mick Jones and Frank Filipetti, and released on 8th December, 1987. Containing the hit singles “Say You Will” and “I Don’t Want to Live Without You”, the album peaked at #15 on the Billboard 200 and was certified Platinum by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) for sales exceeding one million copies. Inside Information was the last album to feature the ’80s core lineup of Lou Gramm, Mick Jones, Rick Wills, and Dennis Elliott. Gramm left the band in May 1990 due to differences with Jones, and to focus on his solo career. He was replaced by Johnny Edwards. The poster was for promotional purposes only, and was never commercially available.
