1973 Japanese Verve Records promo poster (Modern Jazz Best)
Original first printing Bill Evans promotional poster issued by Verve Records in Japan in 1973 as part of their Modern Jazz Best series. Other artist in this series included Stan Getz, Oscar Peterson, Wes Montgomery, Gil Evans, Ella Fitzgerald, Gerry Mulligan, and Phil Woods. The poster features a photo by jazz photographer Katsuji Abe, with his imprint to the bottom left corner.
The poster measures 51.3 x 72.9 cm (approx. 20.2″ by 28.7″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, coated paper stock. Unfolded, but with a couple of horizontal creases to the top part of the poster, as well as light overall handling wear. Feel free to email us with any questions you may have concerning this item.
