Large original concert program produced for Ella Fitzgerald’s two performances at the Grosvenor House in London [England] on 26th and 27th July, 1984, accompanied by Nelson Riddle and His Orchestra, and hosted by British jazz singer George Melly. Fitzgerald’s 1982 studio album, The Best Is Yet To Come, was accompanied by an orchestra arranged and conducted by Nelson Riddle. It was the last of Fitzgerald’s six collaborations with Riddle, their work together on the Verve label more than fifteen years earlier is considered some of Fitzgerald’s finest, both musically and critically. Fitzgerald’s performance on The Best Is Yet To Come won her the 1984 Grammy Award for Best Jazz Vocal Performance, Female, one of three Grammies she won for her work with Riddle.

In original pictorial coated wrappers, staple bound, 24.4 x 33.1 cm, 16 pp. Program notes by Ray Coleman. Light wear to spine and extremities, else in near excellent condition, tightly bound and clean. Additional images of the program available on request.
