Original first printing concert poster advertising Bob Dylan at the Fussballstadion in Offenbach [Germany] on Monday, 11th June, 1984, presented by Fritz Rau and Hermjo Klein in association with Bill Graham, and with Santana and Joan Baez also on the bill. The concert in Offenbach was part of a five-date German tour during May and June in support of the Infidels album. The band for the tour featured guitarist Mick Taylor, keyboard player Ian McLagan, drummer Colin Allen, and bassist Greg Sutton. Recorded at The Power Station in New York during April and May 1983, and produced by Mark Knopfler, Infidels was released on 27th October, 1983 by Columbia Records. Hailed as Dylan’s best poetic and melodic work since Blood on the Tracks, the critical reaction was the strongest for Dylan in years, almost universally hailed for its songwriting and performances. Containing the singles “Union Sundown”, “Sweetheart Like You”, “Jokerman”, and “I And I”, the album fared well commercially, reaching #20 on the Billboard 200.
