October 1967 UK concert tour program
Original vintage concert program for the Dave Brubeck Quartet’s October 1967 nationwide tour of Great Britain, presented by Harold Davison. This was the final UK tour of the so-called “Classic Quartet”, featuring Brubeck, Desmond, Morello, and Wright. By the end of 1967 Brubeck had disbanded the Quartet allowing him more time to compose the longer, extended orchestral and choral works that were occupying his attention.
In original orange and black pictorial wrappers, staple bound, 20.8 x 25.6 cm, 20 pp. Program notes by Derek Jewell. In excellent condition, tightly bound and clean without any markings. Additional photos available on request.
