Ausstellungshalle, Sindelfingen January 1984 concert poster

Original first printing concert poster advertising American rock group Blue Öyster Cult at the Ausstellungshalle in Sindelfingen [Germany] on Friday, 27th January, 1984, presented by Top Concerts in cooperation with Music Circus, and with Canadian guitarist Aldo Nova as special guest. The concert in Sindelfingen was part of an eight-date German tour in support of The Revölution by Night, commencing at the Sporthalle in Augsburg on 23rd January and ending at the Markthalle in Hamburg on 30th January, 1984. Produced by Bruce Fairbairn and released in November 1983 on Columbia Records, The Revölution by Night was the band’s ninth studio album and their first album not to feature all of the original members with drummer Albert Bouchard having been fired during the previous tour. Featuring the hits “Shooting Shark” and “Take Me Away”, the album peaked at #93 on the Billboard 200.
