Original vintage program book for the 1969 Berliner Jazz Tage which took place at the Philharmonie in Berlin [Germany] from Thursday, 6th November to Sunday, 9th November, 1969. Presented by Ralf Schulte-Bahrenberg in association with George Wein, the performing artists included Thelonious Monk, Miles Davis, Duke Ellington, Cecil Taylor, John Surman, Stan Kenton, Sarah Vaughan, Lionel Hampton, and many more.
In original b/w pictorial coated wrappers (featuring delicate artwork by Günther Kieser), perfect bound, 14.8 x 29.9 cm, 70 pp. Bilingual edition with text in English and German. Light wear to spine and extremities, else in near excellent condition, tightly bound and clean. Additional photos available on request.
