Philharmonie, Berlin November 1967 concert poster (Kieser)
Original first printing concert poster advertising the 1967 Berliner Jazztage which took place at the Philharmonie in Berlin [Germany] from Thursday, 2nd November to Sunday, 5th November, 1967. Presented by Ralf Schulte-Bahrenberg in association with George Wein, performing artists included Miles Davis, Thelonious Monk, Erroll Garner, Sarah Vaughan, Don Ellis, Archie Shepp, Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock, Buddy Guy, Barney Kessel, Gary Burton, Larry Coryell, and many more. The poster features delicate uncredited artwork by Günther Kieser.
The poster measures 59.8 x 83.8 cm (approx. 23.5″ by 33″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin smooth-finish uncoated paper stock. In excellent condition, clean and unfolded.
