Royal Festival Hall and Royal Albert Hall April 1957 concert flyer
Original first printing concert flyer advertising American jazz pianist, composer, and bandleader Count Basie’s performances at the Royal Festival Hall on 16th April and Royal Albert Hall on 17th and 18th April, 1957. These shows were part of Basie’s first nationwide tour of Great Britain, commencing with an opening show at the Royal Festival Hall in London on 2nd April and ending at the Stoll Theatre, also in London on 22nd April.
The flyer measures 12.8 x 19.3 cm and is beautifully printed in black ink on thin, coated paper stock. There is faint diagonal crease to the top right corner, else in near excellent unfolded condition. Photo of the back of the flyer available on request.
