May 1956 UK concert tour program & ticket stub
Original vintage concert program for Louis Armstrong’s May 1956 nationwide tour of Great Britain, presented by Lee Gordon and Benn Reyes. This was Satchmo’s first visit to Britain. Original ticket stub for the concert at the Empress Hall in London on Sunday, 13th May, laid in.
In original, red and black pictorial wrappers, staple bound, 21.7 x 26.6 cm, 20 pp. Very light wear to spine and extremities, else near fine, tightly bound and clean without markings. Additional photos available on request.
