De Montfort Hall, Leicester November 1970 concert flyer 

Original first printing concert flyer advertising the “American Folk, Blues & Gospel Festival” staged at the De Montfort Hall in Leicester [England] on Sunday, 1st November, 1970, presented by Arthur Kimbrell by arrangement with Harold Davison. Performing artists included Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee, Sister Rosetta Tharpe, Bukka White, Champion Jack Dupree, Willie Dixon, Shakey Horton, LaFayette Leak, Clifton James, and Lee Jackson.

The flyer measures 14.5 x 20.9 cm and is printed in orange and black inks on thin, coated paper stock. Complete with the original postal booking form still intact. A couple of pin holes to each corner and a punch hole and slight paper loss to the top right corner. Else in excellent unfolded condition.
