1996 Japanese Landmark/Victor JVC promo poster

Original first printing Julian Cannonball Adderley (1928–1975) promotional poster issued by Landmark Records/Victor JVC in Japan as part of the Masters of Jazz series, a CD reissues series that ran from March 1996 to September 1997. Landmark Records was an American jazz record company and label founded in 1985 by Orrin Keepnews. Besides reissues of Cannonball Adderley, Landmark’s releases included music by Donald Byrd, Jack DeJohnette, Jimmy Heath, Vincent Herring, Bobby Hutcherson, Mulgrew Miller, and Buddy Montgomery. Landmark Records were manufactured in Japan by Victor JVC. The poster was for promotional purposes only, and was never made commercially available.

The poster measures 41.8 x 59.3 cm (approx. 16.4″ by 23.3″ inches) and is beautifully printed on medium-thin, smooth-finish uncoated paper stock. In excellent unfolded and unmarked condition.
