November/December 1965 UK concert tour program
Original vintage concert program for Dizzy Gillespie and Jimmy Smith’s joint November/December 1965 nationwide tour of the United Kingdom, presented by Harold Davison in association with Norman Granz. Dizzy’s Quintet for the tour included Kenny Baron (piano), Christopher Wesley White (bass), James Moody (sax/flute), and Rudy Collins (drums).
In original pictorial uncoated wrappers, staple bound, 20.9 x 25.7 cm, 20 pp. Program notes by Benny Green. Wrappers slightly rubbed with light wear to spine and extremities, else near fine, tightly bound and clean. Additional photos available on request.
