1984 Japanese A&M Records promo poster for “Dream Street”
Large original first printing Janet Jackson promotional poster issued by A&M Records in Japan in 1984 to promote the release of the Dream Street album – her only second studio album, produced by Marlon Jackson, Jesse Johnson, Giorgio Moroder, and Pete Bellotte, and originally released in September 1984 on A&M Records. Containing the singles “Don’t Stand Another Chance”, “Two to the Power of Love”, and “Fast Girls”, the album peaked at a modest #147 on the Billboard 200. Dream Street is both the lowest charting studio album of Janet Jackson’s career in the US, and her only studio album to not spawn any hits on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The poster was for promotional purposes only, and was never made commercially available.
The poster measures 59.2 x 84.0 cm (approx. 23.3″ by 33.1″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, coated paper stock. In excellent unfolded and unmarked condition. Feel free to email us with any questions you may have concerning this item. Additional images of the poster available on request.
