1992 Japanese Sony Records promotional poster for “Lucky Town”
Original first printing Bruce Springsteen promotional poster issued by Sony Records in Japan in 1992 to promote the release of the Lucky Town album – Springsteen’s tenth studio album, produced by Jon Landau, Chuck Plotkin and Roy Bittan, and originally released in March 1992 on Columbia Records. Released on the same day as Springsteen’s ninth studio album Human Touch, the album received generally positive reviews. Containing the hit single “Better Days”, Lucky Town reached #3 on the Billboard 200, and stayed on the chart for 23 weeks. It was certified Platinum by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) in May 1992 for sales exceeding 1,000,000 copies in the US alone. The poster was for promotional purposes only, and was never commercially available.
