Metropol, Berlin February 1990 concert poster

Large original first printing concert poster advertising Canadian rock group Saga at the Metropol in Berlin [Germany] on Monday, 12th February, 1990, presented by Marek Lieberberg. The concert in Berlin was part of the group’s tour of continental Europe during February in support of The Beginner’s Guide to Throwing Shapes – their eighth studio album, produced by the members themselves, and originally released on SPV Records in late 1989. It is the second album recorded by the group without longtime drummer Steve Negus and keyboardist Jim Gilmour, who temporarily left the band over management concerns. The album marked a return to their earlier progressive style with a few sci-fi orientated pop elements to it.

The poster measures 83.7 x 59.2 cm (approx. 33″ by 23.3″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, coated paper stock. In excellent unfolded condition. Feel free to email us with any questions you may have regarding this item. Additional images of the poster available on request.
