1982 Japanese CBS/Sony Inc. promo poster
Large original first printing Simon & Garfunkel promotional poster issued by CBS/Sony Inc. in 1982 to coincide with the duo’s five-date Japanese tour during May that year, with two shows at the Osaka Stadium in Osaka on 7th & 8th May, followed by three consecutive shows at the Korakuen Stadium in Tokyo from 10th to 12th May. It was Simon and Garfunkel’s first visit to Japan as a duo. The Japanese concerts were part of their world tour supporting The Concert in Central Park live album. The poster was for promotional purposes only, and was never made commercially available.
