March 1960 UK concert tour program (3rd British tour)
Original vintage concert program produced for Norman Granz’ Jazz At The Philharmonic March 1960 package tour of Great Britain, presented by Harold Davison and featuring Ella Fitzgerald, the Paul Smith Quartet, the Jimmy Giuffre Trio, Roy Eldridge, and Shelly Manne & His Men. Original ticket stub for the concert at the Royal Festival Hall in London on Saturday, 5th March, laid in. Delicate cover artwork by American artist David Stone Martin.
In original illustrated uncoated wrappers, staple bound, 20.9 x 26.8 cm, 20 pp. Program notes by Benny Green. In near excellent complete condition, tightly bound and clean. Additional images of the program available on request.
