Original vintage program book for the NORTH SEA JAZZ FESTIVAL ’76 staged at the Congresgebouw in The Hague [Holland] from 16th to 18th July, 1976, presented by Paul Acket and Mojo. This was the very first year of the festival and the line-up is impressive. Performing artists included the Sun Ra Arkestra, Ray Charles, Count Basie, Lionel Hampton, Sarah Vaughan, Cecil Taylor, Stan Getz, Dizzy Gillespie, Larry Coryell, Horace Silver, John Lee Hooker, Luther Allison, Illinois Jacquet, Memphis Slim, Thad Jones, Mel Lewis, Cootie Williams, Teddy Wilson, and many, many more.
In original typographical coated wrappers, staple bound, 21.0 x 29.7 cm, 48 pp. All text in Dutch. In excellent unmarked condition, tightly bound and clean. Additional photos available on request.
