Original first printing concert poster advertising American singer, songwriter, musician and record producer Stevie Wonder’s three consecutive concerts at the Osaka-jō Hall in Osaka [Japan] on 15th, 16th and 17th April, 1988. The shows in Osaka were part of Wonder’s Spring 1988 Japanese tour in support of the Characters album. Recorded at Wonderland Recording Studios in Los Angeles and produced by Wonder himself, the album was released on 6th November, 1987 by Motown Records. Containing the singles “Skeleton”, “You Will Know”, and “Get It”, the album peaked at #17 on the Billboard 200 and became his first album since Music of My Mind (1972) not to reach the top ten of the charts. It did, however, earn Wonder three Grammy Award nominations in 1988–89.
The poster measures 51.3 x 72.7 cm (approx. 20.2″ by 28.6″ inches) and is beautifully printed on medium-thin, smooth-finish uncoated paper stock.
