Description
Early 1980s Japanese Polydor Records/Sunburst Records promo poster
Original first printing Whitesnake promotional poster issued by Polydor Records/Sunburst Records in Japan in the early 1980s, presumably somewhere between Come an’ Get It (1981) Saints & Sinners (1982). Sunburst Records was established by John Coletta in 1977, specially to release works by David Coverdale after the break up of Deep Purple. The poster features a striking photo of the the classic line-up of Coverdale, Lord, Paice, Murray, Marsden, and Moody. The poster was for promotional purposes only, and was never made commercially available.
The poster measures 51.3 x 72.7 cm (approx. 20.2″ by 28.6″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, dull-coated paper stock. In excellent unfolded and unmarked condition. Feel free to email us with any questions you may have concerning this item. Additional images of the poster available on request.
