1984 French Island Records/Phonogram promo poster for “The Unforgettable Fire”
Large original first printing U2 promotional poster issued by Island Records/Phonogram in France in 1984 to promote the release of The Unforgettable Fire, the band’s fourth studio album, produced by Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois, and released on 1st October, 1984. The poster was for promotional purposes only, and was never made commercially available.
The poster measures 77.9 x 119.5 cm (approx. 30.6″ by 47″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, coated paper stock. Folded thrice as issued with a couple of tack holes to each corner, else in remarkably near excellent condition. Feel free to email us with any questions you may have concerning this item.
