1983 Japanese Rolling Stones Records/Toshiba EMI promo poster for “Undercover”

Large original first printing Rolling Stones promotional poster issued by Rolling Stones Records/Toshiba EMI in Japan in 1983 to promote the release of the Undercover album, the band’s nineteenth American studio album, produced by the Glimmer Twins and Chris Kimsey, and released on 7th November, 1983. Containing the singles “Undercover of the Night”, “She Was Hot”, and “Too Much Blood”, the album peaked at #4 on the Billboard 200, and would be the first Rolling Stones album in more than a decade to miss reaching #1 on the US albums chart. It was certified Platinum by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) for selling over 1,000,000 certified units. The poster was for promotional purposes only, and was never made commercially available.

The poster measures 60.4 x 84.7 cm (approx. 23.8″ by 33.3″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, coated paper stock. There are a couple of soft diagonal creases to the top left corner, else in remarkably near excellent unfolded condition. Feel free to email us with any questions you may have concerning this item. Additional images of the poster available on request.
