1972 Japanese Capitol Records promo poster for “Fresh”

Large original first printing The Raspberries promotional poster issued by Capitol Records in Japan in 1972 to promote the release of the Fresh album – their second studio album, produced by Jimmy Ienner, and released on 13th November, 1972. Containing the singles “I Wanna Be With You” and “Let’s Pretend”, the album peaked at #36 on the Billboard 200. This was the “classic” lineup featuring Eric Carmen, Wally Bryson, Dave Smalley, and Jim Bonfanti. The group disbanded in 1975 after a five-year run, and Eric Carmen proceeded to a successful career as a solo artist. At the time, the Capitol Records catalog was manufactured in Japan by Toshiba Music Industries. The poster was for promotional purposes only, and was never made commercially available.

The poster measures 59.7 x 73.8 cm (approx. 23.5″ by 29″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, coated paper stock. In excellent unfolded condition. Feel free to email us with any questions you may have concerning this item. Additional images of the poster available on request.
