1984 Japanese Warner-Pioneer Corporation promo poster for “Camouflage”

Large original first printing Rod Stewart promotional poster issued by Warner-Pioneer Corporation in Japan in 1984 to promote the release of the Camouflage album – his thirteenth studio album, produced by Michael Omartian, and originally released in June 1984 on Warner Bros. Records. The album marked a reunion of sorts between Stewart and Jeff Beck, who plays guitar on several tracks. Containing the singles “Infatuation”, “Some Guys Have All the Luck”, “Trouble”, and a version of Free’s hit “All Right Now”, the album peaked at #18 on the Billboard 200 in June 1984 and stayed on the charts for 34 weeks. It was certified Gold in August 1984 by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) for sales exceeding 500,000 copies in the US alone. In the UK the album reached #8, and was certified Silver by the BPI (British Phonographic Industry) for sales exceeding 60,000 copies. The poster was for promotional purposes only, and was never made commercially available.

The poster measures 59.4 x 83.7 cm (approx. 23.4″ by 33″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, coated paper stock. There is a tack hole to each corner and light sporadic edge wear, else in remarkably near excellent unfolded condition. Feel free to email us with any questions you may have concerning this item. Additional images of the poster available on request.
