Deutschlandhalle, Berlin September 1975 concert poster
Original first printing concert poster advertising British rock group Status Quo at the Deutschlandhalle in Berlin [Germany] on Wednesday, 17th September, 1975, presented by Woldgang Jänicke. The Berlin show was part of their fall 1975 German tour in support of the On the Level album, their eighth studio album, produced by the band themselves and released on 21st February, 1975. Containing the hit single “Down Down”, the album went straight to #1 on the UK Album charts with the band more or less at the peak of their career, record sales-wise. The Berlin concert was the last European gig before leaving for a tour of Japan and Australia. Special guests on the German tour were the British rock band Snafu, featuring Bobby Harrison and Micky Moody.
The poster measures 59.2 x 83.9 cm (approx. 23.3″ by 33″ inches) and is beautifully printedon thin coated paper stock.
