1993 Japanese Sony Records promo poster for “In Concert/MTV Plugged”
Original first printing Bruce Springsteen promotional poster issued by Sony Records in Japan in 1993 to promote the release of the In Concert/MTV Plugged concert video and laserdisc, recorded on 22nd September, 1992, at the Warner Hollywood Studios in Los Angeles near the start of Springsteen’s tour for Human Touch and Lucky Town. The concert originally aired on MTV on 11th November, 1992, with a one-hour Springsteen documentary beforehand. The video was certified Gold by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) in April 1985 for sales exceeding 50,000 copies in the US. The poster was promotional purposes only, and was never made commercially available.
The poster measures 51.3 x 72.5 cm (approx. 20.2″ by 28.5″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, dull-coated paper stock. In excellent unfolded and unmarked condition.
