Sporthalle, Hamburg April 1992 concert poster
Large original first printing concert poster advertising American rock group Santana at the Sporthalle in Hamburg [Germany] on Monday, 27th April, 1992, presented by Karsten Jahnke. The concert in Hamburg was part of their 17-date European tour during April and May in support of the Milagro album – their seventeenth studio album, produced by Carlos Santana and Chester D. Thompson, and released in May 1992 on Polydor Records. It was Santana’s first album on the Polydor label after twenty-two years with Columbia Records. Milagro, which means “miracle” in Spanish, was dedicated to the lives of Miles Davis and Bill Graham. It reached #102 on the Billboard 200, and stayed 13 weeks on the chart.
