Large original first printing concert poster advertising Chick Corea’s jazz fusion group Return to Forever at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam [Holland] on Wednesday, 17th March, 1976, in support of the Romantic Warrior album – their sixth studio album, recorded at Caribou Ranch in Colorado and produced by Chick Corea. After leaving Polydor the previous year, Romantic Warrior was the group’s first album made for Columbia Records. Arguably more avant-garde and less funky than the band’s previous album, No Mystery, the album is the band’s best-selling record, reaching eventual sales of 500,000 copies.
The poster measures 82.8 x 115.8 cm (approx. 32.6″ by 45.6″ inches) and is printed on thin, uncoated paper stock. The poster has been folded with a touch of light handling wear. Additional photos available on request.
