Shiba Postal Savings Hall, Tokyo April 1985 concert poster
Original first printing concert poster advertising American jazz singer Anita O’Day and the Richie Cole Quartet at the Shiba Postal Savings Hall in Tokyo [Japan] on Sunday, 14th April, 1985, presented by All Art Promotion. Besides the leader himself, Cole’s quartet featured bassist Ed Howard, pianist Danny Maxine, and drummer Victor Jones. Richie Cole was touring in support of the Alto Annie’s Theme album, recorded at Coast Recorders in San Francisco and released in 1983 on the Palo Alto Records label.
The poster measures 51.3 x 72.6 cm (approx. 20.2″ by 28.6″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, coated paper stock.
