Palais de Beaulieu, Lausanne October 1983 concert poster
Original first printing concert poster advertising Scottish rock group Nazareth at the Palais de Beaulieu in Lausanne [Switzerland] on Saturday, 15th October, 1983, presented by Good News. The Lausanne show was part of the band’s European tour in support of the Sound Elixir album – their fourteenth studio album, produced by guitarist Manny Charlton, and originally released in June 1983 on Vertigo Records. It was the last album to feature guitarist Billy Rankin, who had replaced Zal Cleminson in 1980. Rankin rejoined Nazareth in 1990, this time replacing original guitarist Manny Charlton.
The poster measures 31.5 x 70.8 cm (approx. 12.4″ by 27.9″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, dull-coated paper stock (coated on front only). Folded twice horizontally, else in excellent unmarked condition. Feel free to email us with any questions you may have concerning this item. Additional images of the poster available on request.
