Original first printing double-sided concert flyer advertising American jazz pianist and composer Thelonious Monk at the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Brussels [Belgium] on Sunday, 10th March, 1963, accompanied by Charlie Rouse (tenor), John Orr (bass), and Frankie Dunlop (drums). Presented by Société Philharmonique de Bruxelles, this was Monk’s first visit to Belgium. The flyer measures 18.5 x 12.9 cm (approx. 7.3″ by 5.1″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, coated paper stock. There is a small surface tear to the bottom center of the back of the flyer, else in excellent unfolded condition. Feel free to email us with any questions you may have concerning this item.
