Markthalle, Hamburg September 1991 concert poster
Original first printing concert poster advertising American blues musician Taj Mahal at the Markthalle in Hamburg [Germany] on Tuesday, 24th September, 1991, by Karsten Jahnke. Mahal was touring Europe in support of the Like Never Before album, produced by Skip Drinkwater and released in October 1991 on the Private Music label. The album is an eclectic assortment of styles featuring traditional covers and a new bath of originals. Backing vocals on the album were provided by the Pointer Sisters, Sheryl Crow, and Hall & Oates.
The poster measures 59.3 x 83.9 cm (approx. 23.3″ by 33″ inches) and is beautifully printed in yellow and black inks on thin, coated paper stock. In excellent unfolded and unmarked condition.
