1987 Japanese Sire/Warner-Pioneer Corporation promo poster for “La Isla Bonita”
Original first printing Madonna promotional poster issued by Sire/Warner-Pioneer Corporation in Japan in 1987 to promote the release of the “La Isla Bonita” single – a single taken from her third studio album, True Blue, produced by Madonna and Patrick Leonard, and released on 30th June, 1986. “La Isla Bonita” was Madonna’s first song with Latin influences; its instrumentation features Cuban drums, Spanish guitar arrangements, maracas and harmonicas. The poster was for promotional purposes only, and was never made commercially available.
The poster measures 51.4 x 72.9 cm (approx. 20.1″ by 28.7″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, coated paper stock.
