1979 Japanese Swan Song/Warner-Pioneer Corporation promo poster
Original first printing Led Zeppelin promotional poster issued by Swan Song/Warner-Pioneer Corporation in Japan in 1979. The poster features a photo by Aubrey Powell of Hipgnosis in the days leading up to the first Knebworth show on 4th August, 1979. They were staying at the Roebuck Inn in Stevenage at the time, which is about a mile and a half from the festival site. The poster was for promotional purposes only, and was never made commercially available.
The poster measures 83.9 x 59.2 cm (approx. 33″ by 23.3″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, smooth-finish, uncoated paper stock. In excellent unfolded condition.
