Paris: Editions Buchet/Chastel, 1968. First edition. French anthology, edited and presented by Claude Tchekhov. The title of the book translates as The Woman Takes It All. Kerouac’s contribution is an excerpt from Desolation Angels (Book Two, Chapter 66), translated by P. Truffert. Other contributors to this anthology include Ludwig Bemelmans, Frank Sullivan, Pierre Berton, James Thurber, Langston Hughes, Kenneth Patchen, Ira Wallach, Robert Benchley, Henry Miller, Peter de Vries, Jeanne Kerr, Tom Wolfe, and Philip Wylie. Unknown number of copies issued January 1968.

Crown octavo (8vo), 13.9 x 20.5 cm, 204 pp. In original illustrated coated wrappers. Near fine, tightly bound and clean. Additional images of the book available on request.
