Stadthalle, Offenbach January 1977 concert poster
Original first printing concert poster advertising American jazz and R&B singer Al Jarreau (1940–2017) at the Stadthalle in Offenbach [Germany] on Thursday, 20th January, 1977, presented by Fritz Rau and Michael Scheller. The concert in Offenbach was part of Jarreau’s European tour during January 1977 in support of the Glow album – his only second studio album, produced by Tommy LiPuma and Al Schmitt, and released on 15th June, 1976 by Reprise Records. Containing the single “Rainbow in Your Eyes”, the album peaked at #132 on the Billboard 200.
The poster measures 60.3 x 84.0 cm (approx. 23.7″ by 33.1″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, coated paper stock. In excellent unfolded condition.
