Spring 1966 UK concert tour program
Original vintage concert program for American jazz clarinetist and big band leader Woody Herman’s Spring 1966 nationwide tour of Great Britain, presented by Harold Davison. The orchestra for the tour consisted of Bob Pierson, Sal Nistico, Tom Anastasia, Frank Vicari (saxophones); Bill Chase, Marvin Stamm, Alex Rodriguez, Bill Byrne, Dusan Goykovic (trumpets); Henry Southall, Jerry Collins, Carl Fontana (trombones); Nat Pierce (piano), Michael Moore (bass), and Ronnie Zito (drums).
In original purple and black uncoated pictorial wrappers, staple bound, 21.0 x 25.7 cm, 20 pp. Program notes by Derek Jewell. Faint vertical fold running down the middle, else near fine, tightly bound and clean. Additional photos available on request.
