Original first printing concert poster advertising American singer-songwriter and guitarist Richie Havens (1941–2013) at the Fabrik in Hamburg [Germany] on Thursday, 1st July, 1982. While Richie Havens did not achieve widespread popularity during his long career, his deep rich voice and intense and rhythmic guitar style made an indelible mark on contemporary music. Richie Havens died of a heart attack at his home in Jersey City, NJ on 22nd April, 2013, at the age of 72.
The poster measures 83.9 x 59.4 cm (approx. 33″ by 23.4″ inches) and is beautifully printed in red ink on thin, coated paper stock. In excellent unfolded and unmarked condition.
